The AL-2000 aluminum panel door is a heavy-duty 2” thick door, made with extra strong tubular aluminum extrusions that are assembled by means of full length through bolts. Welding shall not be permitted in any part of the process. When required, the AL-2000 aluminum sectional door is reinforced with aluminum built-in integral fins and extra heavy-duty aluminum T-struts. Standard finish is clear anodized with optional painted option. The AL-2000 aluminum sectional door can be fully glazed with thermo glass or partially glazed with kick proof bottom panel and intermediate insulated panels. Optional performance glazing is available. The airtight AL-2000 aluminum door is outfitted with a panel joint closed-cells foam tape, a robust triple-lip perimeter weather seal and a U-rubber bottom seal. The AL-2000 aluminum sectional door is extremely robust, durable and yet pleasantly attractive. It is your definite solution for applications requiring natural daylight and clear visibility, with durability and performance as criteria of selection.

Wind load design criteria

Doors to withstand a wind load of 21psf (velocity of 90.5 miles/hour) with a maximum horizontal deflection of 1/120 of opening width.

Manufacturing Process

All tubular extrusions assembled using full length through bolts. Welding is not permitted in any part of the process.

Joint and Seal

Door sections have an authentic tongue-and-groove joint. The horizontal seal between the sections are of foam rubber type.

16ga. (1.30mm) thick aluminum panels, smooth clear anodized finish, set in U-shaped vinyl gaskets and securely retained in place with a rigid snap-on moulding.

Mark II polyurethane insulated sections

16ga. (1.30mm) thick aluminum panels, smooth clear anodized finish, set in U-shaped vinyl gaskets and securely retained in place with a rigid snap-on moulding.

Glazing

Glazing sealed with watertight closed-cell foam tape and securely retained in place with a rigid vinyl snap-on moulding.
