With a 3” (R-24) or 4”(R-32) thick high density polyurethane foam core, the Energex sectional door is by far the industry’s highest insulated sectional door. The Energex sectional door is equipped with 26 steel skins or with 20 gauge steel skins for more strength and superior wind resistance. Furthermore, the following features enhance and complement the Energex superior insulation performance: airtight tongue-and-groove joint, true thermal break with a double integral bubble seal, triple-lip perimeter weather seal with extra heavy-duty aluminum retainer, robust double U-rubber bottom seal, 16 gauge galvanized steel end caps, etc.
