The Glace-Guard™ Entrance cooler / freezer door combines insulation performance and durability, while being attractive and virtually maintenance free.
This walk-in entrance cooler / freezer door, available in 4″ thickness (R-32), is made of high quality galvanized steel skins. Its panels are insulated with a rigid polyurethane 4” thick foam core, providing the highest insulation value of R-32. Its hardware is engineered to withstand an intensive usage, while providing safety and smoothness of operation.
The Glace-Guard™ Entrance hinged cooler / freezer door has all the features of a superior quality cold storage walk-in door: mirror frame (face frame & back frame) with built-in thermal break, industrial cam-lift hinges, heavy-duty pull handle, heavy gauge steel automatic door closer, airtight magnetic seal and bottom sweep seal, etc.
The Glace-Guard™ Entrance walk-in cold storage door is outfitted with a heat trace for freezer applications and is suitable for both interior and exterior (exit door) applications. It is your best door investment when performance, durability and low maintenance costs are criteria of selection.

Door can be single or bi-parting.
Insulated with rigid polyurethane, foamed in place under high pressure between two metal skins. Standard 26ga. steel skins, white stucco finish. For other skin options, please consult Metal skins options. Panel frame is made with heavy duty aluminum extrusions.
Door frame is made of shock-proof 5/32″ (4mm) thick exterior and interior extruded aluminum angles. The exterior aluminum angle has an incorporated resin thermal break.
For doors with width under 60″ (1524mm): Self-closing and reversible high pressure die-cast zinc hinges with self-lubricating nylon cams. Brushed chrome finish.
For doors with width of 60″ (1524mm) and greater: Heavy duty self-closing and reversible high pressure die-cast zinc flanges, 3/16″ (5mm) thick steel strap. Gray finish
Heat trace :
For freezer applications, the door is equipped with a heat trace on four (4) sides of the door, preventing ice or frost accumulation and eliminating the need to have a heated threshold.
Kick plate :
24″ (610mm) high 1/8″ thick aluminum checker plate, kick plate on full door width, to protect the door bottom against forklift impacts.
