The Bentley residential door is outfitted with 16 gauge steel skins or 20 gauge steel skins and is available with 2” thick (R-18), 3” thick (R-24) and 4” thick (R-32) polyurethane foam core. Due to its dual quality of superior robustness and high insulation value, the Bentley residential door is used as a highly insulated security door. It has all the features of a superior industrial door: high density polyurethane foam core, airtight tongue-and-groove joint, true thermal break with an integral bubble seal (double bubble seal for 3” and 4” thick doors), triple-lip perimeter weather seal with extra heavy-duty aluminum retainer, robust U-rubber bottom seal (double bottom seal for 3” and 4” thick doors), 16 gauge galvanized steel end caps, etc.

Manufacturing process
The inner core consists of rigid polyurethane, foamed in place under high pressure between two metal skins.
Joint and seal
High quality galvanized steel skins roll formed into an exclusive tongue-and-groove joint with a true thermal break and a bubble shaped weather seal. (double bubble seal for the Mark III and Mark IV models).

Seals
3-lip, flexible PVC weather seal, held in an extra robust extruded aluminum retainer.
Bottom weather seal
U-shaped, flexible PVC double weather seal , held in a heavy duty extruded aluminum retainer, securely fastened to the bottom of the door (one bottom seal for the Mark II models).
